I’ve heard criticism of Charlie Bird from people who believe his decision to remain active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is harmful to LGBTQ youth. I respectfully disagree.

If Lena Schwen and others are free to share their experiences and encourage people to leave the Church, then Charlie Bird should be equally free to share his experience and encourage those who want to stay.

Not every LGBTQ person has the same journey, the same beliefs, or the same goals. Some find peace outside organized religion. Others find peace within it. I believe there should be room for both stories to be told.

Charlie Bird doesn’t speak for everyone, and neither does anyone else. But for LGBTQ youth who want to maintain both their faith and their identity, his voice may be an important one to hear.

Real inclusion isn’t allowing only the stories we agree with—it’s allowing people the freedom to share their authentic experiences, even when those experiences lead them down different paths.

What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear them respectfully.

In this clip, Flat Earth Dave explains why he believes Flat Earth Day is about much more than debating the shape of the Earth. He argues that we are living through a spiritual battle for truth, where people are constantly distracted by division, outrage, and conflict.

According to Dave, the real struggle isn’t between political parties, nations, or groups of people—it’s between those seeking truth and the systems he believes are designed to keep people from asking deeper questions. He suggests that the more people fight each other, the less likely they are to investigate the nature of their world and challenge long-held assumptions.

Whether you agree with his conclusions or not, this conversation explores why questioning beliefs, examining evidence, and seeking truth have become such important topics for many people.

Success isn’t always measured by awards, promotions, or victories at work. For this attorney and mother, her greatest achievement was overcoming some of the darkest moments of her life so she could be fully present for her children.

Her story is a powerful reminder that some of life’s most important battles are fought quietly, behind the scenes, and that the people we love often become the reason we keep moving forward.

What would you say is your greatest success in life?

We often ask God to remove our burdens, but what if the greater miracle is that He strengthens us enough to carry them?

I’ve come to believe that God shapes the back to the burden placed upon it. The challenges we face aren’t always punishments—they’re often opportunities to develop faith, resilience, wisdom, patience, and strength that couldn’t be gained any other way.

The burden may feel heavy today, but don’t underestimate what God is building within you as you carry it.

Sometimes the weight isn’t there to crush you. It’s there to reveal who you’re becoming.

What burden has ultimately made you stronger?

Before the fork became one of the most recognizable weapons in professional wrestling, it was just an idea Abdullah the Butcher decided to try. In this clip, Abdullah shares the story of the first time he brought a fork into the ring and how the crowd absolutely erupted.

In this thought-provoking conversation, Flat Earth Dave challenges people to examine what they believe, why they believe it, and whether they’ve truly investigated the world around them for themselves.

He argues that learning about where you live isn’t just about geography—it’s about curiosity, critical thinking, and discovering your own capacity to learn. Whether you agree with his conclusions or not, the discussion raises important questions about questioning assumptions, seeking knowledge, and being willing to explore ideas outside your comfort zone.

How much of what you believe comes from personal investigation versus what you’ve been told? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Wrestling legend Abdullah the Butcher shares a deeply personal story about the one thing he wishes he had done differently.

He says he never told his mother and father that he loved them while they were alive. Now, at 82 years old, he tells their pictures, “I love you,” because he believes it’s never too late to say the words that matter most.

It’s a powerful reminder that life moves quickly, and the people we love won’t always be here. If there’s someone you care about, don’t wait for tomorrow.

Tell them today. ❤️

It’s easy to get caught up in everything that’s wrong with the world. The more we focus on fear, anger, and negativity, the heavier life can feel.

But what if we shifted our attention to our blessings instead?

In this clip from the Just Me Podcast, I talk about why gratitude changes perspective and why doing the right thing isn’t about recognition, rewards, or applause. It’s about becoming the kind of person you want to be.

Do the right thing because it’s the right thing. Focus on your blessings. You’ll usually find more good in your life than you realize.

What blessing are you most grateful for today? Share it in the comments. 👇

What happens when a belief changes the entire direction of your life?

In this clip, David Weiss (Flat Earth Dave) explains how his investigation into Flat Earth didn’t just change his views—it changed his sense of purpose. What began as curiosity turned into a mission that reshaped how he sees the world, truth, and his role in helping others question what they’ve been told.

Whether you agree with him or not, it’s a fascinating conversation about conviction, purpose, and the power of pursuing what you believe is true.
