There’s chicken p**p and then there’s chicken P**P. I’m guessing a rooster made this huge p**p and he’s been snacking on something red (probably the Calf Manna pellets the goats didn’t finish. Has anyone figured out how to keep to chicken p**p off of the back porch?

Not how I like to start my mornings. The charger for this fence is on the other side of the field (of course it is!). I have gotten pretty handy at using a lead rope to fix this and not get shocked! The netting fence is supposed to be down, it’s in the process of being moved. Who else has electric fences?

Apparently even chicken siblings are kinda jerks to each other sometimes 🤦‍♀️ The brooder stayed out because it gives HeiHei a spot away from the mosquitos but the pullets haven’t figured out that it is not a stable etching roost. Or maybe they have figured it out and use it to their advantage.

Went for a ride over at the “big horse” farm. Dazzle’s favorite part is going around and visiting everyone. This boy licked Dazzle’s neck for like 10 minutes straight while Dazzle tidied up his dropped hay.

Recommendations for waterproof boots that last?
