One more signature and whole milk will get the green light to return to schools!!

Whole milk was removed during the Obama administration as it was determined the calories were too high for the new nutritional guidelines. After a long battle with 97 Milk leading the charge, it’s going to be back 🎊

Henry and Harriett are munching away in the heifer barn. These two are twins and our first Holstein Braunvieh crosses. They are super hardy calves and well muscled already. They are quickly becoming favorites for me and the kids. 🐮

We braved the terrible roads for our annual Boonville Farms Cooperative Inc meeting today!

Our awesome partners from Chobani were there and we all went home with a case of yogurt. This is Weston’s absolute favorite yogurt and he ran away with the case after this picture 😆.

Chobani has been a huge supporter of our small cooperative and we are so grateful for them!

These are the days when sleep the night before doesn’t come easily. So many things can wrong at these temperatures, especially with water. Thankfully this week the only issue we had was with the silo unloader. Hoping winter goes by quickly this year!

This attractive fellow is 🐓 Roose Bolton (from Game of Thrones). Roose has recently been put on a PIP (performance improvement plan) for his poor behavior.

If Roose’s behavior does not improve, he will meet a soup pot 😆. The ball is in his court.
