Monolith of industry. There is beauty in this architecture. The smooth, otherworldly reflections of glass and steel are mesmerizing. Yet ultimately I feel saddened by it, because it is a structure so divorced from the natural world. I love how humans have the capacity and creativity to make such structures, but my heart wishes that these temples of commerce work with nature and not against it. I have been on a path for a very long time that has been leading me to reconnect with the natural world and all of its lost secrets that only now, and in the near future, will unfold in my art.

This day was a very physically demanding day for both cast and crew as we cleared and repurposed a residential garage to function as a run down laboratory. Have to shout out the dauntless and the wonderfully positive for giving it their all on this crazy day.

Some BTS of day 2 (I think) of shooting Escape. We were under a huge crunch to get all the shots we needed too in the time that we had. Everyone involved worked extremely hard to make the film possible. It really does take a village. That being said we're all good friends so there were some fun moments between all that crunch. More BTS on the way!

Escape! Out of a Broken Fantasy Trailer
The wait is over!
Tune in this Friday, Jan 24th for the YouTube premiere of Escape! Out of a Broken Fantasy.
Fantasy and reality will collide in this mind bending drama about one young girl breaking the cycle of despair that she finds herself stuck in.

Weddings.
They can go so fast yet have slow and simple moments that pluck at your heartstrings. I'm lucky to have been trusted with filming a few in the past year. They're once in a lifetime events. There's a weight that comes with that.

It was wonderful to dive into them. To improvise and practice movement, composition, and lighting on the fly. There are no second takes with many of these big moments.

Then to take everything I shot and edit them into these dynamic music videos. Took lots of trial and error and sometimes the sheer quantity of footage makes it hard to tell a coherent story. But I like to think of each one as not only a highlight of events, a montage of sorts, but as a visual story of the day.

I hope you enjoy them as I release them.
