Dragonfly Wisdom
The Art of Becoming
One of the things I love most about dragonflies is that they spend the majority of their lives hidden beneath the water.
Before they ever take flight, they live quietly in another world, growing, changing, and preparing for what comes next.
Then one day, something shifts.
They emerge from the water, spread their delicate wings, and become the breathtaking creatures we admire.
I often think we are much the same.
Many of us spend seasons of our lives beneath the surface. We are healing. Learning. Questioning. Letting go. Becoming.
Sometimes these seasons can feel frustrating because we cannot yet see the purpose. We wonder why life feels uncertain. We question whether we are making progress at all.
Yet transformation is rarely loud.
It happens in the quiet moments.
It happens when we choose forgiveness over resentment.
It happens when we trust ourselves enough to take one small step forward.
It happens when we finally release what no longer serves us.
As a Reiki practitioner, I have witnessed countless people move through their own transformations. Often, they arrive feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Over time, as balance returns and healing unfolds, they begin to remember who they are.
Not who the world told them they should be.
Who they truly are.
The dragonfly reminds us that change is not something to fear. It is part of our sacred journey.
If you find yourself in a season of uncertainty, trust that something beautiful may be unfolding beneath the surface.
Your wings are growing.
