📸 This morning we attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the historic Kaufman County Courthouse renovation!

Over the next year, the County will invest $8.3 million into restoring and improving the interior of the building. Once complete, the renovated courthouse will house several offices and the Commissioners' Courtroom.

Exciting things are ahead 🏛️✨

We are pleased to announce that North Forney High School will serve as an open site for the Summer Meals Program, providing free breakfast and lunch to all children and teens aged 18 and under. No application, registration, or identification is required—just come and enjoy a nutritious meal. This initiative is part of the USDA-funded Summer Meals Program, administered by the T​exas Department of Agriculture, ensuring that children in our community have access to healthy meals during the summer months. ​

When: Monday-Thursday, June 9 - July 25 (except June 19)
Breakfast - 8AM-10AM
Lunch 12PM - 1:30PM
Where: North Forney High School (6170 Falcon Way)

Meals must be consumed on-site. This program is for ​all children 18 and ​younger, regardless of whether the children attend Forney ISD schools. Menus ​are available at https://forneyisd.nutrislice.com/menu/north-forney-high.
