The Forrest City Library is hosted Terry β€œBig T” Williams this morning as a part of their summer youth programs. Mr. Williams taught the attendees about the Blues. Programs wrap up next week at the library with a foam party on Monday at 4:15 p.m. and a bubble party next Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Mueller Streamline Co. announces $7 million expansion to its manufacturing facility in Wynne. The expansion is expected to create 60 new jobs over two years. The company has committed to 40 initial new jobs, with the expectation to place them in the first year. Jeff Martin, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Mueller Industries, makes the announcement during a press conference in Wynne this morning.

Forrest City, Read to Succeed is bringing family reading fun your way soon!

Join us for fantastic, free family reading event Monday, July 14, starting at 4:30 p.m. in the Forrest City Public Library at 421 S. Washington St.

This special event is designed to build family engagement and will include a meal, fun activities and story time featuring β€œPotato Pants!,” plus a take-home bag with literacy resources, including a book!

Read to Succeed events are made possible through the generous support of the Joan R. and Charles M. Taylor II Memorial Endowment Fund.
