Military spouses, members, & veterans, share your dreams/nightmares of military life, and in the future we will get them published into several graphic novels & web comics, each story will be in a short story format and each story will be illustrated by a different artist.

Nearly 50,000 veterans and former service members received free emergency su***de prevention care in 2023 in the first year of a new Department of Veterans Affairs program, the department announced Wednesday.

VA has said that ending veteran su***de is its top clinical priority, and a White House fact sheet ahead of President Biden’s 2023 State of the Union address called su***de among veterans a “public health and national security crisis.” https://wapo.st/47Minye

In the 1970s the U.S. Navy considered developing a surface effect aircraft carrier (SEC). The fast flattop would create high winds over the flight deck, eliminating the need for catapults and arresting gear. The ship would also be less vulnerable to torpedo attack. It was estimated that three SECs could be built for the cost of one CVN, allowing the Navy to cover more of the world's oceans. The SEC never got past the concept stage.
