This week, two of Iowaโs most iconic summer traditions are taking over the state simultaneouslyโand our digital network is going completely live to cover every single mile and every single pitch.
From July 20โ24, the eyes of the state will be locked directly on Fort Dodge as the IGHSAU Girls State Softball Tournament descends onto the Harlan Rogers Sports Complex. At the exact same time, RAGBRAI LIII will be rolling across the state from the Missouri River to the Mississippi River, bringing thousands of riders, support crews, and families right through our regional corridor.
Logistics, shifting schedules, intense summer weather tracking, and finding local coordinates can be a massive challenge for out-of-town visitors, vendors, and teams.
That is why we have built the ultimate hyper-local digital dashboard for the week:
๐ฑ Looking for schedules, spectators' guides, and live radars? We have completely overhauled the flat-HTML events calendar and injected full event schema onto MyFortDodge. Whether you are sitting in the bleachers at Rogers Park or coordinating a team basecamp in Boone or Marshalltown, check our portal for the complete weather forecast, local traffic, parking detours, and to find out what else is happening and where to eat in town between games.
๐ธ Need the ultimate soundtrack for the highway support routes? Crews and drivers can mobile-stream Fort Dodge Radio for Iowa's Best Classic Rock. We will keep your support vehicle crews energized with premium classic tracks and regional alerts while listening in-between games and ride segments.
Our edge infrastructure is fully locked down, optimized, and ready to handle the high-volume mobile surge as thousands of visitors use our framework to navigate Iowa this week.
Are you heading to the tournament or joining the ride across Iowa? Let us know in the comments, stay safe on the roads, and let the games begin! ๐
