Heard a song said:

Jesus your an asset in my life, everything else is a liability and you don’t depreciate! As an accountant and business owner, whew 😮‍💨 this just hits!

When the song said, Jesus, You’re an asset in my life, that means He holds value, brings increase, and adds to your net worth, not just materially, but spiritually, emotionally, and eternally. An asset is something that works for you, and that’s exactly who Jesus is, someone who interceed (insert holy language here)! He’s the source that keeps everything else functioning.

Everything else is a liability. A liability is something that costs you, drains you, or puts you in debt, things you owe. People, possessions, and pursuits outside of God will always come with maintenance. Be it emotional, financial, or spiritual, it’s going to require of you. They subtract while He multiplies.

This the runner, You don’t depreciate. Everything in life, cars, houses, even influence, loses value over time. As you use it, worth drops, value drops, the useful life DROPS! But Jesus’ worth never diminishes. His grace, His power, and His promises they hold their value FOREVER.

When you balance the books of your life, make sure your greatest investment is in the only asset that never loses value.

With love,
Your CPA Bestie!✨

Spoke at the “My Health is My Wealth” Conference under the theme Women in Business, and it was such an honor to share the panel with the amazing Ruthie as we talked all things marriage and business. Grateful to Dr. Efosa for the invitation! 💜

The real deal about being a woman in business? Marrying well.
Marry someone who can hold you up when everything feels like it’s falling apart.
Someone who can hold the fort until the fifth comes.
Someone who can push and support you just as much as you push and support them. Take care of home and family because there are no gender roles!

Because nothing is worse than fighting spiritual battles and breaking generational curses while your biggest opposition is lying right beside you.

We heard from so many phenomenal young women who are walking boldly in God’s alignment for their lives. I truly felt the community, the sisterhood, and the presence of purpose in that room. It was an honor to pour out wisdom alongside them, especially my Ghanaian-Bahamian sister (the vibe check passed instantly from she said she was Myles Munroe's daughter 😂).

We were all there to serve, not to be served, and the exchange of wisdom was everything!
If you missed it, make sure you’re in the room at the next one. ✨

Some of y’all missed your million because you didn’t trust the mentor, the process, or the system that could’ve changed everything.

Trust issues keep you broke longer than bad investments ever will. Healing your mindset is financial strategy.

10/07/2025

The biggest scam isn’t online, it’s convincing yourself that staying safe is success.
You call it “being careful.” God calls it “burying your talent.”
The enemy doesn’t need to steal your money if he can paralyze your movement.

10/07/2025

A lot of people won’t get rich because everything is a scam in their eyes. They question every opportunity but never question their comfort.

Skepticism is wisdom until it becomes self-sabotage.

If you think everything’s fake, you’ll never experience what’s real.

10/07/2025

Be committed to the Lord, and He’ll get you exactly where you’re supposed to be.

You don’t have to force it, chase it, or fear it, just trust Him. Walk boldly, knowing who you are and whose you are.

Every delay, every detour, every “not yet” is still divine direction. Stay the course, stay faithful, and let God prove that obedience is the best strategy.

10/06/2025

You think it’s something you have to have to be successful (connections, credentials, capital), but it's, your faith and works committed to God that will get it every single time.

Because when your steps are ordered, grace fills the gaps.
When your faith is firm, doors open that money can’t buy.
And when your heart stays aligned, favor does what force never could.

Stay committed. God can multiply what obedience starts. The blessing is in your obedience!

How can you expect people to invest in you when you haven’t invested in yourself?

In your growth.
In your systems.
In your financial clarity.
In becoming the kind of leader who knows their numbers and makes decisions from data, not desperation.

Investors, clients, heck even your team, they can feel when you’re just winging it. Excellence attracts investment. Stewardship builds trust.

So before asking for funding, ask yourself:
Would you invest in the version of you showing up right now?
