First Gator Hunt - Major Success 🐊 ✅

Huge thanks to my buddy for getting me to apply last minute and help me land first Gator!

This experience was very different from spearfishing, but I still got to use my Blue Reaper Polespear and Magnetic Slip Tip from to secure this beast. I was aiming for the cheek but ended up driving the slip tip into the lower jaw. The Skull Mount should look really cool with an embedded tip in the lower jaw.

I was really lucky to have pulled tags from an incredible location, and I knew I was going to have a shot at some big gators. This swamp lizard was thick and healthy, coming in at just over 11ft 💪🏼

I still had one tag left when we saw an even bigger Gator on the way out. With an 11 foot, 400 pound alligator to process, we decided to save the last tag for another day.

This is why we do it!

You pack your bags, you take multiple planes over the course of multiple days, and you spend hours and days in the water.

The end result; a photo struggling to hold up a massive fish that you will show to your friends, family and colleagues.

The photos are great for telling the story, but it’s the once in a lifetime memories that leave a lasting impact forever.

Doggie Down Under - Dogtooth Tuna

Ryan told me “I don’t see the excitement in Dogtooth Tuna, I prefer Wahoo but maybe that will change once I see one in the water.”

Let me tell you, this guy was ECSTATIC once he put his hands on this beast!

The best part is, he shot this fish in less than 40 feet of water and pulled trigger at 24 feet of depth!

Popping Dogtoth Tuna Cherries 🍒 🐕 🦷

Steve helped walk me through and secure my first mortgage, so it was only fitting that I helped him secure his first Dogtooth Tuna!

You never forget your first, and this fish came after a few long hard days of horrible weather. Watching push through adversity and finally find his trophy fish was amazing to be a part of.

I Caught My First Māori Sea Pearch!

Went out this morning for a quick inshore mission with reel guns. Not only was I able to land my first MSP, but it was the LARGEST one I’ve ever seen!

This fish is one I’ve wanted for years, and my first one was a beast nearly weighing 30 Lbs coming in at 13 Kg or 28.6Lbs.

To make the morning even better, Nate had been eyeing some Giant Sweet Lips while we drifted for Doggies, and he was able to land this plus sized model.
