Miami-Dade County is stepping up, saying more oversight is needed and is coming.

“I’m very alarmed,” said Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, reacting to the newly released report. “Now we realize we must do more. We must be more aggressive in our oversight.”

That USDA inspection report on the Seaquarium detailed incidents of food deprivation, saying: “with diets being drastically cut for nine dolphins at the park so that the dolphins would perform better for guest interactions.”

Some experts sindicate this as Unacceptable & Against the Law.

🚫 "Seasonal Agressions are Normal" ... No, they are NOT. In captivity, it's a response, a cry for help. A tantrum for Hunger Extremis. Clear Signs that something is deeply wrong = the only way any animal can manifest discontent. Yet again: is Anyone really listening? From 13 pounds of food a day to... 3? After the rotten fish, this?
3 pounds a day comparable to feeding only breakfast expecting someone to work all day & be OK with it. 🤦‍♀️ Geezzzzz.

and Toki? What about her? Nontheless to say, The jewel of the Show retired... and so did the food supply apparently as well.
