“I pulled the plug on the AI hype.”
As Founder/CEO of AppDaddys, Inc. I took GenieTok.com offline because I refused to sell the same broken AI dream that burned me — and I won’t burn you.
Sometimes people look at me — the founder behind Playidy (https://playidy.app) and GenieTok (https://genietok.com)— and think,
“Man… he’s nuts.” And maybe I am — but in the best way.
Because as Denzel Washington. says:
“You gotta think outside the box.”
After seeing firsthand how the hype around “build anything full-stack in minutes, no coding needed” leaves most people with half-baked prototypes and empty wallets, I made the call:
I’ve temporarily taken GenieTok.com down to completely reevaluate and reposition it as an ethical leader with bold upfront risk disclosures that are transparent and NOT buried in the fine print of terms and conditions you never read.
AI is incredible for creative work — images, 3D, voice apps, artwork, social content, automation, and AI receptionists. It can accelerate prototypes fast.
But complex full-stack apps (real databases, APIs, auth, production-ready systems) almost always need real iteration, testing, and the human help of seasoned developers.
I’ve been there. I got burned out of thousands of dollars (setting aside special holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and others) pursuing a dream that was sold to me that left me holding the empty bag. I refuse to let that happen to you.
We’re coming back stronger and 100% transparent — with clear expectations, real success rates, honest cost guidance, and no broken promises.
You’ll know exactly what you’re getting into… and the risks involved.
If anybody asks if I’m crazy for choosing integrity over easy hype…
I just smile and say: “No, I’m Cocoa Puffs!” 🥣🎧
