CASTING CALL- South Florida

Seeking three people of color to act in a 2 minute PSA on the dangers of texting and driving. Roles are as follows:

1. Father - 55-70, This character has the majority of lines.

2. Mother- 45-70, this character has only a few lines.

3. Son - 16-30 (or older but must LOOK younger). No lines. But acting ability needed for reaction shots.

This is a volunteer, non-paying gig. Just good vibes in helping get out an important message. Acting experience not critical. Just a willingness to take direction, have good diction, a command of the English language and the patience to engage in the production process (setting up and lighting scenes) and recording multiple takes of the same scenes while maintaining the same intensity.

Really excited about this new project I am working on with the Theater Director of South Plantation High School. It's called "Let's Talk Business" and it is our way of thanking all those small, locally owned businesses for supporting the theater arts in education at the high school. Our hope is that was can turn it into an ongoing series.

The first episode airs tomorrow night, Friday, June 5th at 7pm. I hope you will join us and, more importantly, you will support those those businesses that have always been there to support us.

Had a little video fun with the EMHS Class of 80 Jazz Ensemble vinyl I bought off EBay a few weeks back. Band was an unknown world to me back then. Wish I had been a little smarter than I was in high school. Dedicated to all my fellow EM JETS...paricularly the band geeks. You guys were the bomb.
