ACA and Medicare Advantage enrollment help 2026. Lots of changes coming due to tax credits that will expire at the end of December, increased costs for health care services. I am a local agent and I am a broker which means I work for my clients not the carriers. I can help you choose the right plan for your needs while saving you time. My fee is paid by the carrier which means you get the same cost as what it would’ve cost you to enroll yourself without the help of a professional if you were ever going to use an agent that did not charge you any more more money than what you would have to spend anyway this would be that year.

I will be finished reaching out to existing clients this week to assist with enrollment for 2026. Current clients always get serviced first before I seek new clients.

All plans are set to auto renew, but that is not necessarily your best option for 2026 with all of the recent changes. If you are a current client and have not received a phone call by the end of this week or if you received a call and could not answer it at that time, then just call me at your earliest convenience. The deadline to have coverage that will start January 1st when your current coverage ends December 31st is December 15th.

After this week, I will be out in the field, but will still be able to take calls. My assistant, Cindy, will make phone calls to schedule appointments throughout the enrollment period for anyone we missed.

Open enrollment for marketplace health plans, and annual enrollment for Medicare will begin soon. As you may have seen in the news, there is a lot going on in the healthcare industry all of my existing clients as well as those who need coverage are encouraged to work with an agent this year, so you will know how these changes could possibly affect you. I spend the time focused on your individual situation with over six years now of experience I am licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia and I am certified through CMS for both Medicare and marketplace plans.

See how you can qualify for more extras with a Devoted Health Medicare Advantage plan.

*The Food and Home Card is a special supplemental benefit available only to chronically ill members with eligible chronic health conditions, like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart problems, and stroke. Other conditions may be eligible. All applicable eligibility requirements must be met before the benefit is provided. Not all members qualify. The Food and Home Card is not available on all plans. For D-SNP plans, you must receive "Extra Help" to qualify for the Food and Home Card.

It is nearing that time of the year again for both Medicare Annual Enrollment (oct 15th-Dec 7th) and Marketplace Health (Nov 1st-Dec 15th for coverage that starts Jan 1st). I will be posting updates here on facebook, through email, and also by phone to all current clients. There will be several changes to each program which could effect your out of pocket costs and you will want to be informed. It is also a good idea to update key factors on your application such as your zip code if you have recently moved, current income, household size etc as all of these can impact your coverage or subsidy if apllicable. Auto renewal will automatically cost you a higher premium of at leas $5+ so it is always best to call in during the enrollment window. Speak to myself as your agent so I can go over your options and make sure you have the best plan for your needs.

Xtreme is out doing what we do best; Marketplace, Medicare and group health insurance.
There will be some changes coming soon. The SEP for those with household incomes less than 150% of the Federal Poverty Line is going away soon. This is due to a ruling by CMS regarding the fraudulent activity taking place with telemarketing companies. I for one am excited as I do not like or trust telemarketers or any company using AI to approach me for a product or service.
At Xtreme, call us old fashioned, but we still feel the best way to service our clients is through face to face interactions and through building relationships.
That said, once they end this SEP anyone needing insurance through the Federally Facilitated Marketplace will only be allowed to enroll from Nov 1st - Dec 15th for coverage that will start January 1st 2026 and beyond. An SEP for QLI’s (Qualifying Life Events) will still be available for 60 days from the time the QLI occurred. (Example: change of household size, losing coverage due to a recent move, etc.)
