A DAILY CHOICE.

The enemy designs traps to entangle us and keep us tethered with "cords of death." He wants to entangle our hearts and minds with serious hindrances like offense, bitterness, hatred, strife, lust, and anxiety. These are like the "cords of death" that entangled David and compelled him to cry out to God for deliverance (see Psalm 18).

In contrast, God designs on-ramps for us to step into the Secret Place, abide in Him, and live our lives on a "Highway of Holiness." He wants us to find the on-ramps to that golden highway in the sky above it all, that place of union with the Lord in which we can no longer be bothered or broken by anything that unfolds around us. (See Isaiah 55, Isaiah 25:8)

Which path will you choose in this season? If you've been on the wrong path, repentance is the way to correct your course and rediscover your destiny. We've wasted too much time with darkness: it is time to ascend and rule over it (Revelation 3:19-21).

Causing thousands of terrorists' pagers to explode simultaneously was a major technological feat and a huge blow to a really dangerous extremist group. Just a small group of hackers behind the scenes: it reminds me of Gideon's band of 300 and what they accomplished in their battle against the Midianites.

Thousands of people were injured Tuesday when handheld pagers exploded in the suburbs of Beirut and other parts of Lebanon, according to Lebanese state media.
