Tega Cay, We Need Your Support!
On Friday, November 6, the Tega Cay, SC Lions Club is hosting a Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Event at Tega Cay Elementary. Our goal is to package and donate 20,000 life-changing meals for families facing hunger around the globe! 🌎❤️
Every one of the 686 students at Tega Cay Elementary will have the opportunity to participate during the school day, with no fundraising required from students or their families.
To make this possible, we need to raise $8,200 to cover the cost of the meals and supplies. Maybe it’s no coincidence that Tega Cay was founded in 1982! We’re hoping our community will rally around this goal and show what makes Tega Cay so special. ❤️
The exciting news? We’re already more than halfway to our goal! That’s thanks to the incredible generosity of the Tega Cay Lions Club, Tega Cay Live, and several early sponsors. We can’t wait to recognize these amazing supporters in the coming weeks!
This event is about so much more than packing meals…
❤️ Students will learn the importance of serving others and giving back.
🌍 They’ll discover how Rise Against Hunger is changing lives around the world.
🦁 They’ll learn about the mission of the Tega Cay Lions Club and hopefully be inspired to become future Leo Lions.
⚖️ They’ll participate in a hands-on STEM experience by measuring ingredients, practicing teamwork, solving problems, and working together toward a common goal.
🤝 Most importantly, they’ll experience firsthand how an entire community can come together to change lives.

❤️ $25 sponsors 2 students and provides 60 meals, but donations of ANY amount are welcome!

💚 Tega Cay Advocate | $250
Sponsors 20 students and helps package 600 meals.
🤍 Tega Cay Champion | $500
Sponsors 40 students and helps package 1,200 meals.
💛 Tega Cay Hometown Hero | $1,000
Sponsors 80 students and helps package 2,400 meals.
