NEW: Tropical Storm Humberto has formed. ๐ŸŒ€

NEW: Tropical Storm has formed in the Atlantic, 8th storm of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season. I'm also tracking Invest 94L, which if it forms, would become the "I" named storm... . Here are my thoughts as of Wednesday evening:

1. Humberto has the has the potential to become a hurricane, possibly even a major. Current model majority is out to sea, however, Bermuda should closely monitor the storm.

2. Invest 94L is disorganized, but has flared up more storms today. Next up will be mountainous Hispaniola. After, when it reemerges over the very warm waters of the Atlantic is when it's expected to organize and likely form into the Bahamas.

3. Although Florida to the Carolinas needs to monitor, current model trends have been positive for Florida trying to keep Invest 94L east of the state Sunday into Monday. A little too close for comfort though and not written in stone considering it hasn't even formed yet. Curving out to sea and not bothering anybody is still in the mix too.

4. Too early to know if we will see the "Fujiwhara Effect" between Humberto and potential Imelda. When two hurricanes spinning in the same direction pass close enough to each other, they begin a "dance" around their common center. If one hurricane is a lot stronger than the other, the smaller one will orbit it and eventually come crashing into its vortex to be absorbed.

I'll continue to keep you updated with no hype, just the facts. Thanks everyone!

Twin storms possible in the Atlantic. ๐ŸŒ€๐ŸŒ€

Well this an...interesting...look from the European model for Sunday into Monday. Possible twins, and , not far from one another as tropical storms or hurricanes in the Atlantic. Although Florida to the Carolinas needs to monitor, current model trends have been positive for Florida trying to keep Invest 94L east of the state (left storm). A little too close for comfort though and not written in stone just yet. Curving out to sea and not bothering anybody is still in the mix too. I'll keep tracking them and keep you updated.
