Portion of I-59 South is closed at mile marker 205 due to a sinkhole that’s developed on I-59 according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Traffic is being diverted from I-59 South at Exit 205 to AL 68 to US 11. According to ALDOT, repairs should take 4-6 hours.

BOND SET AT $10 MILLION DOLLARS.

Daniel McCarn, is being held in the Jackson County Jail on a $10 million bond.

The bond is the highest ever set in the State of Alabama. Previous high was $2 million just set in January in Fayette County.

7 p.m.

Scottsboro police department has released an updated photo of Daniel McCarn the suspect wanted in the shooting of a Scottsboro officer Saturday morning.

McCarn is still at large and still considered armed and dangerous.

The photo is not from the day of the incident.
