Operation Feed the Need

Matthew 25:40: “Whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters, you did for me.”

This Thanksgiving season, Southern Torch and Twin City Used Cars are joining forces to help local families put food on the table — because everyone deserves a full plate and a thankful heart.

Bobby Ledbetter and Twin City Used Cars, one of the most community-minded businesses in Northeast Alabama, have proudly partnered with Southern Torch since 2013. Together, we’re reaching homes across Marshall, DeKalb and Jackson counties through The Sand Mountain Reporter, Times-Journal, Jackson County Sentinel, 98.3 Wild Country and 101.7 The Torch.

The partners are giving away $50 grocery gift cards every weekday between now and Thanksgiving to help neighbors right here at home.

Here’s how to take part:

For your opportunity to receive a $50 grocery gift card:
Call 98.3 Wild Country at 256-999-0098 Monday through Friday between 6 and 9 a.m. when Harley & Karli say “feed the need.” Every day, Caller No. 9 will be the recipient of the $50 grocery card.

Call 101.7 The Torch at 256-999-0097 Monday through Friday between 3 and 6 p.m. when Steve Malcom says “feed the need.” Every day, Caller No. 10 will be the recipient of the $50 grocery card.

Please note: To help as many families as possible, only one recipient per household so others can have the opportunity to receive a grocery gift card.

Each $50 gift card goes directly to a local family, helping them stock their pantry with groceries that truly make a difference. It’s all about neighbors helping neighbors, one family at a time.

May God bless you — and thank you for letting us be a part of your day.
