The heat index is expected to reach up to 108°F today across coastal and inland areas including Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Brevard, and Volusia counties. That kind of heat can be dangerous — especially for vulnerable groups like children, seniors, and pets. 🥵

👉 What you should do:
✅ Stay hydrated – drink lots of water
✅ Limit outdoor activity between 11 AM and 4 PM
✅ Never leave kids or pets in parked cars
✅ Check in on neighbors who may be at risk
✅ Wear light, loose-fitting clothing and sunscreen 😎
