🚤 Back in the ’80s, Vero Marine Center noticed that boat owners weren’t using their boats. So they started something that would change everything: the Grady Bunch. What began as a way to encourage boating turned into a tight-knit crew of adventurers, creating lifelong memories along the way. 🌊🌴

In the late ‘80s the folks at Vero Marine Center realized something interesting about some of their customers – they weren’t using their boats enough.

Inspired by her beloved grandmother and the struggle she had getting medical help in rural north Florida, Madetric N. Wood opened her nurse practitioner practice in geriatrics — where she literally goes out of her way to reach patients who couldn’t make it to her office.

It started with a low-income retiree struggling to grow a garden behind a church parking lot. What has blossomed is a thriving community garden that provides fresh vegetables to about 1,000 people each week.
