We're thrilled to announce that we held the kickoff meeting for the administration of several key grants aimed at enhancing North and South Peach Parks and our community! 🎉

Key players were able to dive into the details of the American Rescue Plan Act’s (ARPA) Improving Neighborhood Outcomes for Disproportionally Impacted Communities grant, which will help fund important improvements to the North and South Peach Park trails. 🌳✨

Additionally, discussion was held regarding the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant for both North and South Peach Parks, as well as the T-Mobile grant application to bring even more resources to South Peach Park.

This is an incredible opportunity to improve our parks, promote healthier lifestyles, and provide our community with the spaces we deserve. More details to come!

President Jimmy Carter took a picture with Seargent Patrick Sondron in 2011 and made his dream come true. Sondron died in the line of duty in 2016.

We have been keeping a secret and now we can share the news!!

Today at the Georgia School Nutrition Association National School Lunch Week Kick Off Luncheon, the Peach County High School Cafeteria was recognized as a 2024 Cafeteria of Excellence!

We want to congratulate Ms. Angie Payne(Manager) and her staff for their hard work and pride in serving our students daily with quality meals.

The application process was very rigorous and included a picture portfolio. In his letter of recommendation, Dr. Jesse Davis said "In my 27 years of exposure to school cafeterias and school nutrition programs, I have never encountered a program as impressive as the program to be found at Peach County High School. Our cafeteria is very purposeful in their efforts to consider participation data and feedback from students and staff to help guide our menu options."

Please join us in celebrating this prestigious recognition!
