Choctaw AFJROTC Movie Night!

One of the Cadet Staff’s unit objectives this year is to strengthen our AFJROTC community through more socials—keeping morale high and our unit connected. Tonight’s movie night hit that mark. Cadets came together, relaxed, and strengthened the esprit de corps that makes Choctaw AFJROTC special.

Huge shout-out to Movie Night Project Officer Cadet Mancia, and to Cadet Ferguson and Cadet Callis for helping set it all up. Moments like this bring our corps together. 💚💛💪

Great day at the University of West Florida’s AFROTC Detachment 014. Our cadets got a true look at university life as AFROTC cadets prepare and train to become commissioned officers in the United States Air and Space Forces.

They joined AFROTC Leadership Laboratory, practiced drill alongside cadets, completed a Group Leadership Project, and took part in an AFROTC brief and Q&A with Det 014’s cadre. We toured the detachment, explored the UWF campus and facilities, then wrapped up with lunch in the campus dining hall.

The goal was simple: give our cadets a realistic feel for the university environment and what AFROTC looks like day-to-day. Mission accomplished. Special thanks to AFROTC Cadet 3rd Class Johnakin Thomas Jr., Manpower Officer, for coordinating and hosting this outstanding event for our cadets.
