Our next project is about to get its first screening. Coming this January!

Join us on Thursday, September 5 at LOOK Cinemas in Glendale for the film festival premiere of BETWEEN BORDERS, followed by a Q&A with director Mark Freiburger, actress Elizabeth Tabish, producer Isaac Norris, and the film’s real-life subjects Ivan and Violetta Petrosyan.

In this gripping drama, Violetta and Ivan, a resilient Armenian couple, seek asylum in the US after fleeing Baku in the 1980s. Violetta, a determined mother, longs for justice, while Ivan, a gentle musician, dreams of a hopeful future for their daughters. Haunted by displacement, they attempt to rebuild their lives in a Russian city, finding solace in a local church, but continue to face overt discrimination and threats to their family. Their pursuit of freedom and safety leads them to America, where a challenging court battle leaves their future hanging in the balance. 88 minutes.

Mark Freiburger has directed and produced several features including JIMMY, THE TRIAL, and DOG DAYS OF SUMMER.
