With a little planning, you can easily create multiple deliverables from a single shoot, like this 20s ad for . We cut it from the 60s brand film, along with a 30s and 6s version. You can check all of them out on our site! Which one is your favorite?

Time-travel, anyone? When you engage in the creative process, there is always the opportunity for happy accidents - things you didn't plan that worked out better than you could have hoped. This was one of those.

We shot some old family photos around the house to use in the video, but early in the edit, it became clear they weren't going to provide enough coverage, emotion, or interest to get us through the whole song. We started looking through old home video footage, and when I saw Addison's mom (hi Tinea!) standing in the exact same spot that I shot her portrait, just about 15 years earlier, I was blown away.

The song's main themes and emotional tones are about growing up and the passage of time. The use of home video seems so obvious now and really carries the piece as a whole, but having a moment where the 'time-travel' is so clear is really special, and it's one of my favorite cuts in the final film.

This Friday!! Can't wait for everyone to see the video and to share more images and BTS from the process. It was really fun and special to work with on "My Kitchen Floor." If you haven't yet, head over to her profile and pre-save the song on Spotify!

HAILEE (2 of 2) - this film was used to create emotional and environmental context to someone’s personal story at a live event right before they got on stage to share more. In this case, the cornerstone of Hailee’s personal story was family conflict and divorce. When listening to her tell her story, she mentioned that a few years back a family member had asked for ‘Peace’ for Christmas. This seemed like an opportunity to create a nostalgic, emotive scene while also sensitively building tension, leaving the audience wondering what the story was. Check it out on the site!

H A I L E E (1 of 2) - a few frames from a Christmas shoot we did back in October. This film was used at a live event to provide emotional and environmental context to someone’s story right before they jumped on stage to share more. The concept we came up with for this one was a little risky but the client was on board and let us give it a shot. It played well at the event and I am excited to share it with you soon!

A K Y R A (3 of 5) - This film was about belonging - or rather a lack of belonging. I wanted the images to have a sense of distance and loneliness. One choice I made to accomplish that was to shoot environments that were not ‘in-use’. Seeing something familiar but empty helped build a sense of absence that was important for the story.
