What is an “Open Format DJ”?
A DJ who:
- Customizes each event to the wants, needs and uniqueness of the individuals booking the DJ.
- Follows playlists, song choices and vibes requested for the event.
- Isn’t there to make the event “their own”
- Isn’t there to use someone else’s platform to play “their stuff”
Open Format DJs, like myself, are here for YOU. The person booking us. We care about how you want your big day, or corporate event to go. We’re here to build lasting memories for YOU! .. not ourselves.
When looking for a DJ, make sure to ask questions. Ask what their style is. Ask what their motivation is. Ask what experiences they have that are similar to the services you’re looking for. Ask them what planning processes they use.. (for example, I use Vibo .. the BEST planning app for all events)
When you find one that is willing to make your day, YOUR DAY, book them.
I have DJ’d over 200 weddings in my career, and have NEVER had one where the same playlists, mixes, etc are played.
I take pride in customizing EVERY event to make it exactly how the guests want.
Weddings, corporate events, private parties, sporting events, unique mixes..
You call it, and it is my business to make it a reality.
