Our final issue of 2025 is out now, and we thought it would be a good idea to give you a sampling of Christmas activities you can take part in before Santa lands on your roof.

Along with light displays like the Holiday Lights walk-thru at Parkview Field and Blue Jacket's Fantasy of Lights at Franke Park, there's also the Festival of Gingerbread at The History Center, musical and theatrical performances, meals with Santa, and much more.

Tonight's the night comedian Jane Lynch brings her retro Jane Lynch's A Swingin' Little Christmas show to Clyde Theatre with her friends Kate Flannery of The Office and Tim Davis.

“There’s very little dancing. It’s mostly — the comedy between Kate and myself cannot be denied," Lynch told Whatzup in an interview. "But basically it’s a fast-moving show with lots of music. You’ll be tapping your toe, you’ll be laughing your ass off at Kate Flannery because she’s like a whirling dervish."

Sparkle Teeth will celebrate the release of their "Outta Here" EP tonight at The Brass Rail along with Necromoon and sundogsarah.

“There’s always going to be like a little bit of a punk element, because that’s the kind of thing that I cut my teeth on and I’ve always liked playing," frontman Dan Kinnaley said of Sparkle Teeth. "I’ve always kind of written punk songs to some extent. So in this project specifically it’s things more like Hüsker Dü and Bob Mould. So, there’s some of that kind of stuff coming through.”

The PFW record label GoldTop Records will host Goldstock tonight at Clyde Theatre, showcasing 12 local musical acts, including emerging indie pop artist Noah Sties, who recently released his giant! EP.

Before heading to The Clyde, check out our review of giant!.

"Sties can sing and sing well. He puts me in mind of the great Jack Tatum from Wild Nothing; distinct, up front, and emotionally connected. It’s a big, in-your-face track that keeps the momentum going throughout."
