The Doula Network of Fort Wayne Doulas provide evidence-based information, and physical and emotional support to moms and partners during the prenatal, birth, and postpartum journey.

The Doula Network of Fort Wayne (DNFW) is an association of independent doulas in and around Fort Wayne, Indiana, joined together to support and encourage one another and to increase the public's awareness of the benefits of working with a doula before, during, and after birth. We are NOT a doula practice or a training organization, but a group of professionals working to positively impact the loc

al birth culture. We are both birth and postpartum doulas who support all choices for labor, birth, and postpartum, the only criteria being that the mother-to-be is the one making them. Our doulas are as unique and varied as the families we serve. But one thing is certain - we're ALL passionate about and deeply committed to helping local women and their families have the kind of labor, birth, and postpartum experience they always hoped possible.

After a long, redemptive birth for a sweet family, my client looked up at me and said, β€œThank you, I couldn't have done this without your constant help, support, and encouragement.” It is such a gift to be a part of one of life’s biggest moments. Hearing that I made a meaningful difference makes me so grateful that the Lord has entrusted me with this business.

Some passions of mine are women feeling educated and confident going into their birth. My goal is for them to know their options, learn how to ask good clarifying questions, and create preferences that help them feel in control of as much as possible.

I am a Christian and feel a call on my life to support families through this season. My hope is that those who interact with me feel Christ’s love through me, sense my calmness through the unknowns, and feel tangibly supported every step of the way.

Join us October 21 at 6PM to Meet the Doulas!

This quarterly event is hosted by the Doula Network of Fort Wayne, and open to any family planning to give birth in Northeast Indiana! This is a wonderful opportunity to chat with multiple doulas one-on-one and to learn which doula might be the right fit for your unique desires and goals, both during your birth and the postpartum period.

We have also invited Justine Shirley of Babywearers of Northeast Indiana (BWNI) to attend to give families the opportunity to learn about babywearing throughout the evening, and Camille of La Leche League will be there to introduce families to local breastfeeding support groups!
