Spikes 14u Black won the tournament in Decatur this past weekend. My daughter subbed on this team and they went 5-0! Fortunately I had my gear with me and was able to shoot this emotionally charged championship game. This group of kids was passionate about every pitch and it was a lot of fun to watch, and capture. First attempt at portraits this past fall right before December and who better else than to share this with my daughter! One of the biggest reasons I wanted to get into photography. We left right at golden hour(should have left earlier) to a local park and tried to get as many as we could.

I wore a helmet on the soft toss one 😂
