Coming to you live from the Toyota of Irving Private Collection, I recently stumbled upon the 90’s AE111 generation of the Sprinter Trueno / Corolla Levin — in my opinion a forgotten JDM TOYOTA that doesn’t get the attention it deserves - revving to nearly 8k, based on the Corolla, and can actually be had under $10k. Here’s why I think the AE111 shouldn’t be overlooked.

Back at exploring the high tech, luxurious 3rd Gen 4Runner — the JDM Hilux Surf! Diesel Powered and with tons of unique features compared to its USDM counterpart, my take is that the Hilux Surf will become more and more popular here in the states 🇺🇸

The Tercel 4WD Wagon was the brands response to Subaru’s lineup of off-road capable family haulers. I met Patrick at , who caught my attention because he would actually wheel his rare, quirky rig amongst the numerous 4Runners, and Tacomas on the trails. His passion for the Tercel is huge, and I really enjoy meeting dedicated owners like him. He and his wagon to me represents such a bright spot with the car scene today!

The 550+ HP Turbo 2JZ RX300 on a 2001 4Runner chassis is perhaps the most unique off-road build I’ve seen.. potentially ever!

First day at and I stumbled upon a really clean RHD 80 Series, many of y’all thought in my last jambo throwback post that not only the turbo diesel 80 series was the best rig shown, but many consider this gen LC as number 1 for being the last gen with solid axles, it’s strong off-road prowess and now (sadly) classic looks. What are you taking OVER this rig?

Texas Land Cruisers LLC and I roadtripped down to Austin to pick up this 1971 FJ40 for a restoration build.

This was my first time sourcing a niche vehicle, which proved much harder than I thought — figured there’s 100s of thousands worldwide and only so many OEM colors. But I was wrong, many have some level of restoration, and very few are in this less popular color AND all original.

Follow along as me and TLC bring this rig back to life! (Don’t worry the patina stays!)

I think we have a good idea of what the Toyota Tundra “TRD Hammer” will be like, because the brand has given us many clues through its concept vehicles, its current models, its competitors, and its conservative strategy as a brand. When you combine all these factors, the blueprint may already be there!

What do you think it will be like, if it does make it to production? Thanks to Off-Road Place for letting me check out one of their recent completed 3rd gen Tundra projects!

Before the Tacoma, and even before the Hilux, the 1 of 3400 Toyota [Lite] Stout was the first Toyota Pickup Truck sold in the United States. And it was a complete flop. ☠️

Coming to you live from Off-Road Place catching you up on a 🔑 part of ‘s truck history here is the 🇺🇸. While this one clearly has some modern enhancements, it was cool to see a rare truck like this in the flesh!
