I’ve had my Roland DJ 707M for a few months now and I’m really loving it. The sound effects that are built into the board don’t need to be hooked to the computer to work and neither does the drum kit. I had the volume of the sound effects just a little high the other night and made a man drop his plate of food with the laser sound. (Oops). It’s a plain looking board. No lighted or spinning platters but one of the best features is the no feed back option on the mics. I can hold a mic against the front of a live speaker with full volume and get no feedback. I don’t know why many people like to stand in front of the speaker to make an announcement but that’s where they seem to gravitate to when making an announcement or speech. Makes it really nice not to worry if the father of the bride just keeps walking over that direction.

So last week we DJd a pool party @ a large apartment. Not many showed up but everyone had a good time. This week we did another one in another city. Lots more people came out & they were enthusiastic & fun loving people.

Had a great time DJing for an Elks lodge recently. Going back end of June. Very nice group of folks there!

We DJd a party for an apartment house in Dallas last Friday night. Played mixed music, did some Karaoke & they played bingo. The BBQ was delicious! Everyone had a great time.
