Fermented food is good for our gut, so why can’t fermented plants be good for our skin? When I received the opportunity to try out this new-to-me skin care brand called I was so intrigued and I knew I had to try it out! Apparently fermented chamomile is 1.5x more soothing than regular chamomile, and in this cleansing balm it work in tandem with mornings seed, avocado and coconut…some real powerhouse superfood skin-gredients! 🌼

I have almost completely made the switch to using cleansing balms over gel/cream/foam cleansers and use it on a daily basis. My typical routine is to apply the balm thoroughly all over my face, wipe it off with tissues or reusable makeup pads, give my face a quick rinse and then apply a serum or moisturizer. I love how supple and dewy my face feels after using a cleansing balm and you an use it in the morning or at the end of the day!✨️

I don't know if there's anything more powerful than knowing that in my empty-est, darkest, most hopeless moments in life God had ALREADY redeemed my pride and my mistakes because he was looking at what he had already planned for my future. And to know that no matter what I walk through that God calls me his own so that He can go to battle for me when I'm too weak... that there is power!

You guys know how much I love farm fresh eggs 🥚 It's one of the things that I've switched to (over factory farm eggs) that I know I'll never look at/eat eggs the same way I used to!

Farm fresh eggs have such better benefits than factory farm eggs in that:
✅️It's lower in cholesterol
✅️Higher in Vitamin A & Vitamin E
✅️Higher in Omega-3
✅️Last longer

Hello, August 💫
After a mega-packed month of July we are looking at August and evaluating what to prioritize and how we should pivot our focus.

With only 2 months left before our doors open we have a lot of daunting tasks ahead of us that need to be addressed (both big and small). My prayer for this month is that as we tackle these tedious tasks David and I don't get distracted, disheartened or frustrated to the point that we get stalled. I pray that our pivot in priorities this month pays off in areas that we don't even expect. We'll be over here staying the course, getting our ducks in a row and putting our nose to the things that we've been putting off 😁

Been making a conscious effort to increase exercise and energy every day. COVID kicked my butt for a few days, but it's all about how you get back up, right? Luckily, I have this goofy boy to help motivate me 🥰🐕

Are you still using liquid soaps and shampoo? You already know that I almost exclusively use handmade, small-batch bar soap at home, but y’all, I’ve decided to make the switch to bar shampoo as well!!

Here’s why:
🧼I’m trying to reduce single use plastic in my daily life
🧼I think there’s more product waste with washing products that are in liquid form
🧼I want to reduce the amount of liquid products spilling into our water systems

Surprisingly, bar shampoos are not as easy to find in your typical grocery stores, so that’s interesting to me. Did this shampoo bar work just as well as a liquid shampoo? Watch my review video to find out ~😉
