Tony Garcia is a childhood leukemia survivor of more than 50 years. Diagnosed at the age of 2 in 1973, he underwent brutal treatments that ultimately cured his cancer while leaving him with many long-term physical and psychosocial effects. He is currently writing a memoir for Bell Asteri.
