Childhood cancer is a thief. It is absolutely unfair. It stole this bright, beautiful, talented, smart, brave girl from the world. The Ramsey family lost one of its shining stars and we all lost one of the most amazing humans who danced through life with grace and a sparkly golden light.

Grace is a character from our storybook, "Stories 'Round the Campfire." Cole Eicher is a childhood brain cancer survivor. He wrote the story of Grace and the significance of the gold ribbon. Cole's cousin, Hannah Weisbrod, beautifully illustrated the story.

The gold ribbon is special to the pediatric cancer community. It reminds us that children are more precious than gold and we must donate our gold to researchers to develop life-saving therapies that do not harm our precious kids.
