Just got word that IMAGE won honorable mention in overall design today at the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association awards! Congratulations to Ryan Osborne, Maddie Grussendorf (past editor-in-chief) and Emily Atteberry (current managing editor) on winning awards for their stories for the fall issue, too.

TCU has an ethnic diversity ranking of 0.35, according a rankings system from the U.S. News and World Report (to find the report's breakdown of TCU's ethnic diversity, skip to page 7).

The spring issue of IMAGE breaks down the components of ethnic diversity at TCU and what the university has done and is doing to encourage and foster a diverse atmosphere in reaction to these rankings.

It's almost that time of the semester again! The spring 2012 issue of IMAGE will hit stands shortly after students return from spring break. And you can expect to see something along these lines...

While I was silent, I witnessed the trials of other LGBTQ people and straight allies whose ordination as ministers, deacons or elders were either withheld or defrocked because someone was out of the closet or broke church law by marrying same-sex couples.
