✨️God's word wasn't just meant to be preached on Sunday mornings. It was written to accomplish what He said. To be received and lived out. His word tells us there is power in our tongue and that we will declare a thing and it will be established. GLORYYY
✨️These aren't just words. They are SPOKEN confessions of faith. Jesus used spoken words to command and declare and we are to imitate Christ. When we speak HIS words we are living in HIS truth and HIS promises to us, allowing it to direct our steps and transform us from the inside out. 🔥 JESUSSS
✨️This isn't just a word. This is victory and breakthrough, this is believing that what HE said will come to pass over my life.

"What are you needing rest from today? "

This Labor Day I challenge you to ask yourself this question. Where or what in your life are you finding yourself in need of rest today?

Labor day may be a recognized federal holiday here in the United States.. A time to recognize achievements and contributions of American workers, but have you ever found in all those achievements and contributions brought by the labor of our hands, we often neglect the need for rest?

I want to take a moment to remind you the gift of rest, that even our creator took (Genesis 2:2)
He finished the work HE had been doing AND RESTED. He blessed this day of rest, made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done. GLORYYY 🙌

Today Jesus invites us to come to HIM & find rest in HIM. (Matthew 11:28-29)
Whatever labor, burden, or weariness may look like for you in this moment.. He is able to offer rest for our soul. ✝️🛐

Sometimes it's more then just a holiday or 3 day "Labor free" weekend. Sometimes we need to take a moment to sit back and seek the Creator, the Lord God almighty to bless our day of rest & bring Him ourselves including every burden where our souls can find rest and be restored. 💞

🙏My prayer today is that you find that rest and that He blesses the work of your hands. In Jesus mighty name

Today I had the pleasure and honor of praying at my beautiful sister Karen Johnson "Faith & Fragrance
Women's Empowerment brunch"
hosted by Compassion Hearts In Action 💞
What a beautiful gathering. From the theme, to the activities, to the speaker we were all beautifully reminded of the fragrance we carry and what God is able to bloom in us & through us. And Im not speaking on the physical things 🙌🔥🪔 GLORY.

There's something mighty & powerful when God's daughters come together in fellowship, worship, His word, & prayer.
I believe every woman left feeling empowered in their purpose, reminded of the beauty they carry, and with a sweet aroma from sitting with the King ✝️🛐

Karen thank you again for all you do. It was a honor & privilege being in the room and at the table that the King prepared 🙌

👉START AGAIN and KEEP GOING 💪 This is a great time to get your kids involved.. "accountability partners." 🙃 If they're anything like mine, they won't have any trouble reminding you what you said you were going to do.

May is Mental Health awareness Month, which happens to be a very passionate subject of mine. 💚

My testimony is one that includes decades of suffering due to Mental Health. By both My own and the people that I was surrounded by. 💔
10 years ago I became locked in serious about breaking free, healing, and recovering and friend that included my mental health and the people places and things I surrounded myself with. 💪
Through the transformative power of the holy spirit I began a decade long journey of learning new ways of living and thinking. 🔥
📖Romans 12:2 "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
1 thing I have personally learned and seen in the lives of others is the need for boundaries & at times the complete removal of.
This can be difficult to maneuver through even in a Christian walk because many people have distorted views of Christian's being "kind." Let me say this loud for the people in the back. Kindness and tolerance are not the same. 🛑
Jesus, who is our best example of a Christian lifestyle, even had boundaries and was not tolerant.
At the end of the day the only voice we can trust for what to do is the one of our wonderful counselor the Holy Spirit.
Forgiveness and repentance is absolutely necessary but staying around people places and things that harm you, your walk with Christ, and your walk in healing and recovery is dangerous.
Here are a few examples of how Jesus handled harmful people. 👇

Remember who and what you are fighting for... Victory..freedom.. for you and every generation that comes after you.

Keep fighting the good fight soldier. Them chains are rattling and those curses are breaking in Jesus mighty name

In the Potter's hands 🙌

"I want to come to God..But first I need to get right." A common theme I often hear when ministering to others. "Get right."
The common misconception that we are able to get right in our own strength understanding and power. 💔

The flaws & weaknesses caused by a sinful world and nature are not off putting to God. His hands do not release us. 🙌 Instead, when fully surrendered, He begins the beautiful transformation of reshaping us into something useful, beautiful, and according to His perfect wisdom.
Yielding to the potter (God) enables our flaws to be turned into a testimony and purpose 🙌

The transformative working powers of the Holy Spirit are mighty & able.
It's not a matter of "if He's willing but a question of.. am I willing?"
Am I willing for the potter's hand to reshape me into a beautiful work aligned with God's perfect flawless purpose?"

If you've answered yes.. may this be the nudge you need to put off trying to "get right" on your own and the repositioning you needed in the hands of the potter.
In His hands.. what will you become?

23 years ago I carried the title of
Miss Cinco de Mayo Queen 👑
👉I was also carrying years of unhealed trauma, abuse, and wounds that were fixing to unravel and unmask what I had became so good at hiding. Anger, shame, guilt, unworthiness, regret, heartache, brokenness. 💔 I was quickly spiraling from party girl 🍸to hard-core addictions 💊 self harm and living in the fast lane headed to hell. 🛑
👉Fast forward 10 years ago.. while in the midst of trying to rebuild years of destruction, sitting in a inpatient class I heard the sweet words that gave me permission to go back and heal the little girl. ✨️"Be who you needed when you were younger." ✨️ This wasn't just permission for myself, but for my children..
👉Years later to today EMPOWERING 👑 EQUIPPING 💪AND ENCOURAGING✝️ the next set of warriors walking into their season of healing recovery and breakthrough. In Jesus mighty name. This ministry is personal. My fight has not been easy. And im not finished yet.
👉but Today I shout... 🗣"WE DO RECOVER" Through the redeeming power of the blood of Jesus and the transforming works of the holy spirit WE DO RECOVER. 1 day at a time.
If you're reading this and you're new to recovery or you have a loved one in recovery 💗 keep pushing forward and lean into the Lord. Remember what you are fighting for.. the younger you, your future generations, and everyone in the valley who has yet to find that sweet moment of amazing grace.
