The amount of companies, creators, and people I see using AI completely wrong is honestly starting to drive me insane.
I go through a LOT of documents across the different freelance projects I work with, and it’s wild how often I receive obviously AI-generated documents that literally contradict other documents the same company already provided.
Then I see content creators building rate cards with inflated numbers because AI told them, “This is what you’re worth,” without actually understanding their analytics, engagement, deliverables, usage rights, audience, or what a brand is actually paying for. AI is only as good as the brain using it.
Now I love AI. I use it every single day. I use it to organize my thoughts, build better processes, brainstorm ex*****on, work through ideas, and sometimes just dump everything out of my head so I can figure out what I might be missing.
But my ideas come FIRST.
If youre letting AI think for you, speak for you, price you, and make every decision for you, eventually youre going to lose track of your own story. Your voice starts changing. Your information stops lining up. Things contradict each other. And eventually, the slip ups become obvious.
Use AI to make your brain more efficient. Don’t use AI to replace it. It’s a tool. Not your brain. Not your experience. And definitely not your personality.
