Story Time 📖

This is a trip we will never forget…something we laugh 😂 about now 🤦🏻‍♀️

December 2021 - I took the Mister to his first Football 🏈 Game watching his team Pittsburgh Steelers vs Minnesota Vikings and they loss 😢…At least we had end zone suite tickets, seen Flo Rida performed at half time, good times, it was an amazing evening….

Until Minnesota decided to snow us in ❄️ on our way to the airport to board our flight 🏠 Had already returned our rental car and had to call and get it back, NO FLIGHTS out whatsoever. Deplaned and had to rebook. It was snowing so bad my brother and Nyab (SIL) couldn’t even see to come and get us.

So we end up at a hotel thinking we would be able to check in since we had to fly out at 6am. Trying to park and we get stuck. Tow truck showed up and…We witnessed our tow truck hit 2 other parked vehicle and ended up needing a tow himself. Meanwhile we witnessed 2 drunk fellows trying to leave in the snow storm and hit the same car again and tore up the car next to us. It was a s*** show to say the least.

To top it off the hotel, Best Western Bloomington Edina - Minneapolis who had an idiot of an employee who disappeared for 4 hours, came back shirt untucked, half sleep or drunk, took forever to get us our room because he was supposedly checking room inventory. No sign up or nothing. Gave us a dirty room, probably the one he was sleeping in, then another room that was occupied which could’ve resulted in a bad situation, thank God they had the door bolt was on, so that last room we made him go with us. We had less than an hour to sleep before we had to try and catch our flight again with Delta Air Lines who should’ve compensated us…

Let’s just say that the Mister will never travel to the Midwest again during the winter months except for work 😆
