You may have seen me sitting in the school carpool line today, but mentally, I’m still very much back in Palm Beach. We gave Kaleigh and the Luxury Travel Advisor | Kaleigh Kirkpatrick team one request: plan us an intentionally relaxing getaway, just the two of us. We wanted a beautiful hotel, a great spa, incredible dinners, a little adventure—and for all of it to feel easy.
One phone call and they had it handled: dinner reservations, airport transfers, a private deep-sea fishing charter where I caught a SIX-FOOT sailfish, and a hotel where I literally had a button next to my beach chair that I could press whenever I needed anything. I finished almost two whole books, which might be the greatest proof of relaxation I can offer.
They sent us an itinerary that we hardly changed and we basically just pressed go (pun intended from the aforementioned button). I will still say it was the best trip we’ve taken since our honeymoon.
So yes, I was technically in the carpool line today. But a very large part of me is still sitting under an umbrella in Palm Beach, halfway through a book, waiting for someone to bring me fresh fruit when I press my button. A girl can dream right?!
