HAPPY FREEEE DAYYY 🥳🌈everyone! if your on my nutrition program you know that you get one day off the plan a week and this day is to give you a mental break from the hard work and also to help you build sustainable food practices! The practice of coming back from deviations is such a HUGE part of this lifestyle change practice. Whats everyone having on their free day this weekend??

My baby sis has come all the way from Austin to come meet my baby girl today and we are having sushi 🍣 and cocktails 🍸 tonight because I CANN! 😂😂 My little sis Cara is the most amazing person. She is the one that go married in Portugal 🇵🇹 this past November!

hiii everyone!

just wanted to share a frozen chicken i tried from sams that my family and i liked! its easy to place in the oven and cooks in 20 m! luka loved it!! the only ingredient that i wasn’t a huge fan for low inflammatory eating is the soy but if your looking for something quick, easy, low carb, and sometimes most importantly LOW MESS than this is great option 😍 i have been looking for good frozen meats to be able to easily heat up and so i decided to try this one at sams and it was a family hit!

Only 4 g net carbs and 17 g of protein!!! 😋😋

Good Morning my friends! 🌻🌻

I wanted to try something new this week on social! I thought it would be fun to have a weekly sharing itinerary! I will share my things with you guys and i really hope yall feel open to share with me toooo! This is all just for fun and to stay in the healthy nutrition headspace! I’m really kicking things up a notch in my Jewel Nutrition world 🌎 lately! Even just got an office set for us to meet at FINALLYYY! After my crazy year of building my nutrition workd back up🤪 I kinda had to wait to find the perfect place until i felt fully committed to growing and being more consistent and I do!!! So yay!

Always working on my running schedule in the busy busy life of motherhood

The suns out so im smiling. Winter ❄️ bluez make me fr blue. In the process of figuring out how to manage my rheumatoid arthritis better, especially during pregnancy. Met someone my age with the same condition 🥲💜💜💜

….momming, studying, coffee, growing a baby, trying to grab healthy food on the go, deciding to clean the house or to study or take a shower when i have a mom break. Motherhood is wild ride and even tho im a sleepy (in RA pain) mess I wouldn’t change my journey for the world… and beyond blessed to be a momma to luka, nash, and growing mila.

Habit formation is one part of what i teach my nutrition clients in their nutrition and wellness sessions. Let’s talk about it a little here!
Habit formation is the key to success when it comes to nutrition, fitness and wellness. Its all about teaching your mind how to do a new routine with how you do food everyday. You can do anything you want in this life. All you have to do is train your mind a body to consistently put in the work it takes to get there. When you make healthy eating a habit it no longer feels hard. It feels normal.
Habit formation involves three main steps:
1. Trigger
2. Action
3. Reward
All we have to do is hack these steps with the behavior change you are wanting to achieve and practice the change on repeat.
Recent studies show that it takes 18-254 days to create a new habit. The time length is dependent on the complexity of the habit. The average time it takes to create a new habit is 66 days. In my nutrition coaching sessions we discuss habits, create sustainable nutrition plans, and hold the accountability space needed to achieve success with these lifestyle changes. Its super fun! I hope learning about this was helpful. 🫶

Today was my first official day back to work in my own business. Its been about 8 months of a pause from actively working in my own business. After so much that happened with my nutrition practice over the past 12 months and in my personal life i just had to take a pause. Being back felt so cathartic. I felt back to life and back to my nutritionist self. Just a newer version.
Thank you all so much for waiting for me to get back to my passion and heal. Today in my visits we discussed some pretty interesting topics… subconscious mind and its ability to govern your success with weight loss, preventing heart disease, inflammation, and the hard work that has to go down… that actually has nothing to do with food, but everything to do with what’s going on in your day to day life and mind, that has to get figured out before longterm weight loss success begins.
Im so excited to continue to guide you all through your health journey’s. Thank you for trusting me to be your nutritionist and being there for me through my journey to my personal goals as well.
This Sunday/Monday we start our first Palate Reset Challenge 🔥💪🥦🍓🥕🥑🫐 for the year and I can’t wait to do this together
