I had a family member who says this. I believe they are full of s**t but here this is. The truth is none of us actually know what we have lost or forgotten over the years ... because we have forgotten it lol 😆
Think back to your earliest memory. How old were you? For a large portion of Americans, the answer might not be until their teens.
In a recent survey, Americans were asked how much of their childhood they remembered at different ages. 52% said they only remembered "a little" from age 16, with 3% saying they remembered nothing at all from their teens.
Looking back further, 1 in 4 say they have no memories from age 6, while a whopping 59% say they only have fleeting memories from early childhood.
