5 things smart cruisers do in EVERY port 👇 Save this before your next sailing.
1. Screenshot All Aboard Time — Once you leave the ship, you lose the app.
2. Photo the Port Entrance / Pier Name — So your taxi knows exactly where to bring you back.
3. Ship Time vs Local Time — Your ship doesn’t always change time. Your phone will. Set a watch to ship time.
4. Small Cash + Ship Card + Photo ID — That’s all you need ashore for shopping, taxis, and getting back on board.
5. Get AWAY From The Port Shops — Walk 5-10 mins out. That’s where the real food, real prices, and real culture are.
Don’t be the cruiser running down the pier because you missed Number 3.

But why use a travel agent when you can just book it yourself? 🤨
Listen, I get this question weekly, so let me answer it once and for all.
You CAN do it yourself. But here’s what DIY travel is really costing you:
‼️TIME — Hours lost comparing sites and reading fine print.
‼️EXPERTISE — I know which cabin category is actually worth the upgrade, which resort has the swimmable beach, and which airline layover to avoid.
‼️ACCESS — Rates, perks, and upgrades the public never sees. Relationships matter in this industry.
‼️BACKUP — When your flight cancels or the resort overbooks, I’m your 2am phone call. Without an agent, that’s YOU on hold.
‼️COST — Most of us are free. The cruise line / resort pays us. That commission is already built into the price you see online whether you use an agent or not. So you’re paying for help you didn’t get. 🫣
The DIY traveler pays full price, does all the work, and has no one in their corner when things go sideways. 🤷🏻‍♀️
So I’ll ask again — why not use the service you’re already paying for?
