Still unsolved to this day, the murders at this home in Villisca, Iowa were newsworthy enough to remove the news of the Titanic Sinking from the front page in 1912. ⁣

Hopefully once things calm down from covid I’ll be able to visit again. ⁣

“Just another trip to the grocery store” - Stanton Friedman ⁣

There’s so much to unpack with the Betty and Barney Hill case, but if you’ve never looked into their abduction story, it’s worth looking into. There’s a plethora of information and if you want to get thoroughly freaked out, listen to the hypnotic regression sessions. ⁣

Skeptics claimed that Betty’s retelling of the story through regressions was so calm that it was as if she was talking about going to the grocery store. The late Stanton Friedman would poke fun at that statement, and if you listen to his lectures on YouTube, you’ll notice he happens to mock that statement consistently after every regression he shares. I don’t blame him, the recordings aren’t subtle. ⁣

So we’ve probably all seen this, and I have to admit, the first time I watch it I was shook. By now we know that it was just a smudge on the cars windshield, but it would have been so cool if it was a ghost. ⁣

Shout out to the New Jersey Paranormal Research Organization for analyzing the footage and making sense of it. ⁣

Also, if you haven’t seen their video, and I just bummed you out that this isn’t a ghost, I’m sorry. ⁣👻

I really wish this almond-smelling, wand-carrying cryptid was real. For some reason, I don’t believe a businessman’s early morning encounter... but still a cool tale. 🐸⁣

Doing some digging on our old pal Bigfoot and turns out he may be a fan of corn. ⁣

I came across this Des Moines Register article from 1978 and it shares some pretty fun stories about sightings of the creature all around the state. ⁣

Guess I need to keep my eyes peeled next time I’m out for a drive. ⁣

I should probably re-introduce myself for all the folks who don’t remember this page from back in the day. I’m Andrew, I’m a full time filmmaker who also happens to dig all things unknown. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If you dig deep in the credits of Terror in the Sky’s by Small Town Monster you’ll see that I was the second unit Director of Photography. I’ll also be the DoP for Seths new On the Trail of UFOs. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I’m excited to get back into the community and start sharing some blog posts with y’all soon. ⁣⁣

Not sure I’d ever like to come across this thing in the middle of the night. ⁣

I’ve got great memories of visiting Elkhorn a few years back. The Small Town Monsters crew decided to take me out to Bray Road on a dark rainy night. I have to admit, it was a bit creepy, but it was a blast finally being in a spot that I’d only read about and seen on TV. ⁣

What do you think of the Beast of Bray Road? ⁣

Van Meter Hot Under the Collar⁣

Say that in your old timey news report voice. In all serious, the Van Meter Vistor is a great case from Iowa, and if you listen to Bigfoot Society you’ll know how much us Iowans love this case. It’s a bummer that the festival won’t be happing this year, but we are happy that everyone is safe. Catch us there next year though. ⁣

Throwback to a cold and rain day in April of 2018. Location Elk Horn, Wisconsin. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I was invited to help on a shoot day with Seth Breedlove and the Small Town Monsters crew while they finished up their Beast of Bray Road documentary. Here are a few behind the scene shots from that day. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For those who don’t already know, my full time hustle is filmmaking. It’s been great working with Seth and his crew on and off over the past few years, and I’m super honored that I’ll be behind the lens for his new On the Trail of UFOs series with Shannon LeGro. It’s gonna be a wild adventure and I can’t wait to start. ⁣

Still one of my top 5 favorite cryptid/ maybe alien cases. ⁣

Do you know what this monster is? I’ll give you a hint. It’s from Illinois, and probably hangs out with all the other cryptid that have spawned out of that state. Illinois seems to have it all. ⁣
