An excellent review of New Directions in Medieval Mystical and Devotional Literature, edited by Amy N. Vines and Lee Templeton has been published in the most recent issue of the Journal of English and Germanic Philology.

Congratulations to Professor Scott Gordon, who has received the Klein Prize for his article “A Moravian Rifle Goes to War: Disarming and Arming Pennsylvanians, 1775–1776.” 🎉

🏆The Philip S. Klein Pennsylvania History Prize is awarded by the Pennsylvania Historical Association for “the best scholarly article published in Pennsylvania History.” It is awarded every other year.

Scott is Professor and Andrew W. Mellon Chair in the Lehigh University English Department. He is a former director of Lehigh University Press, and currently serves on LUP’s editorial board. Congratulations Scott!
