Inoculate your mind with “Liquid Culture” by on April 11th! The first track “There Go My Ego” is available to listen on Band Camp, and we may drop a few more choice cuts as we get closer to the album’s release, which will be a tough decision to make as this is a album through and through. This project has marked a huge transformation for Abyx Media, with new minds and talent entering the fold, and I hope to see many more of these types of projects coming in the future. In the next few weeks we’ll be firing off promotional copies to as many outlets as we can, and “Liquid Culture” is available for preorder now on (with a Band Camp exclusive price of $2.50 for the digital version), Apple Music, Amazon Music and a bunch of other digital stores. “Liquid Culture” is also available for Spotify pre-save and will drop everywhere at midnight on April 11th. We hope to see some publications and playlists picking up material from this release, and I think we have some other tricks up our sleeves to build hype as we get closer to April 11th. Keep your eye on Sclerotia, we’re gonna take over the world I promise.

Making slow progress towards my video setup, need an inline dimmer now but otherwise I've got working studio lights now. Really wish I could afford a better camera but I'll just have to use what I've got for now. If you want to learn some visual/pattern-based techniques for learning scales in multiple positions on guitar go follow Abyx Media on YouTube and keep an eye out in the next month or two for my first tutorial. I'm hoping to make all kinds of educational music content over the next year.

I was just scanning through my Abyx Media DistroKid account and one of my brother's songs has been streamed around 150,000 times in the last year through FB/IG... for a whopping $0.34 in revenue lol. Still, I wonder what happened there? I had no idea that we were getting any plays at all.

Abyx Media has the express right to publish, modify, and distribute materials by the artists Trypno and Jason Bender. If copyright violation appeals are rejected we will pursue legal action against any entity submitting illegal copyright claims against our copyrighted media materials. Jason Bender will be working on some unreleased music tonight at twitch.tv/AbyxMedia. This is the first stream since Abyx Media became a Twitch Affiliate channel so it’s a little bit of a celebration! Stream is scheduled to start at 10pm MST but it might start a little sooner so make sure you follow the channel on Twitch. Come hang out and let’s chat about music, current affairs, and that funky smell that everyone keeps pretending that they don’t smell even though we all know that we smell it.
