I don’t understand the fear mongering the Democrats put out about the SAVE act!
The vast majority of American’s support requiring ID to vote. Across all political spectrums.
Gallup (October 2024): 84% of U.S. adults favored “requiring all voters to provide photo identification at their voting place.” This included strong support across parties (e.g., 98% of Republicans, majorities of independents and Democrats).
• Pew Research Center (August 2025): 83% of U.S. adults favored or strongly favored “requiring all voters to show government-issued photo identification to vote.” Support was 95% among Republicans and 71% among Democrats.
• Rasmussen Reports (various recent polls): In January 2025, 77% of likely voters said requiring photo ID is a “reasonable measure to protect the integrity of elections.” Other Rasmussen polls in 2025-2026 showed figures around 73-74% favoring voter ID requirements.
• Earlier Pew data (February 2024) showed 81% overall support, with Democratic support rising over time (from 61% in prior years to 69%).
