We’ve known the Hendler family since their earliest days, back when our studio and their first brewery were right next to each other.

Since then, watching what they’ve built across Night Shift, Wormtown, and Jack’s Abby has been pretty incredible.

This project gave us the chance to work together again. This time capturing the energy, community, and personality behind the brand in a way that could live on season after season.

Not a bad way to spend a few shoot days.

We’re excited to announce a special screening of Townie at in Gloucester on January 16, 2026.

Fresh off its Official Selection at the New York Comedy Film Festival, Townie—a documentary-style stand-up film featuring legendary Boston comedian Steve Sweeney—will be shared in an intimate setting designed for conversation and connection.

The evening will include:
• A pre-show VIP meet & greet
• The screening of Townie
• A post-show Q&A with Steve Sweeney and Director Ian Barrett

We’re honored to bring this film to Gloucester and to create space for audiences to experience the story together!

Today, we’re remembering the incomparable John Lennon.

Guitar virtuoso JOHNNY A. reached out and asked us to direct and produce a music video for his gorgeous tribute to the music master—an artful cover of “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away.”

As longtime fans of both Lennon and Johnny A., it was an easy yes.

In honor of Lennon’s legacy of love, creativity, and courage, we’re proud to share this music video featuring Johnny A. at his most reflective—fully in his element with a guitar in his hands.

Recently, MediaBoss had the opportunity to consult with Framingham High School’s Environmental Awareness Club on launching their own YouTube and TikTok channels.

Our Creative Director, Ian Barrett, kicked things off with a brainstorming session on how to translate their mission into engaging video content—then we rolled straight into production. By the end of the meeting, the students had a finished video ready to kickstart their initiatives and inspire others to take action for the planet!

Big thanks to the passionate students and teachers at FHS for inviting us in. The creativity and commitment you bring to your work give us hope for the future. 💚

This week’s highlight: presenting Family Nurturing Center with a Telly Award!

Family Nurturing Center is a much loved client. We’ve partnered for years to produce fundraising videos and today we were pleased to share our Telly Award for a video we produced featuring their partnership with Dorchester eatery Comfort Kitchen. The work that FNC and Comfort Kitchen do in the community is amazing and we are extremely proud to support them both in this small way.

Sweeney has spent years perfecting his iconic Townie act, a funny heartwarming, and deeply personal love letter to his hometown, Charlestown, MA.

Townie premieres Monday, September 15th at 7 p.m. at the Dedham Theatre.
