BANNER GOLF WEEK FOR BEAU! Beau Black, an eight-year-old Frankenmuth resident, enjoyed great success on the golf course last week. On Tuesday, September 16, Black recorded his first hole-in-one on hole No. 4 at The Fortress Golf Course. He struck an eight iron from the gold tees (87 yards) for the ace, which was witnessed by his grandmother, Nancy Black. Over the weekend, Black competed in the Callaway Meijer Tour Fall Championship and he won the Fall Player of the Year Award for the 7-10 age division. The weekend tournament was held at Coldwater Golf Course. Beau’s parents are Reed and Alyssa Black.
