Honey-Garlic Wings are our newest obsession 😋
~ Honey-Garlic Wings ~
For the crispy wings:
• 2 lbs chicken wings Maryschicken Crowd Cow
• 1 tbsp baking soda
• 1 tsp kosher salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp garlic powder Simply Organic
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp smoked paprika Frontier Co-op

For the honey-garlic glaze:
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce Kikkoman USA
• 2 tsp fresh ginger, grated BJ's Wholesale Club
• 5 garlic cloves, minced Spice World
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar Nakano Rice Vinegars
• 1 tsp sesame oil Jiva Organics
• 2 tsp fresh lime juice
• 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes Simple Truth
• 1 tbsp water + 1 tbsp potato starch or cornstarch Bob's Red Mill
• green onions and sesame seeds for garnishing

Directions:
1. Pat dry your chicken wings, this will help them crisp up better.
2. Mix the spices and cover the wings with the mixture, ensuring it covers every surface. Lay them on a baking rack.
3. While wings marinate, start the oven to 450F.
4. Bake 20 min. Flip and bake for 25 more min.
5. While the wings bake for the second time, work on your glaze. Mix everything together and set on the stove, on a low simmer. When the mixture comes to a gentle rolling boil, add the cornstarch/potato starch slurry and cook for 1-2 min until it gets slightly thicker.
6. Take the wings out of the oven and gently toss in the the honey-garlic glaze you’ve just prepared. Reserve about 1/4 for dipping.
7. You can stop here or you can transfer the wings back to the baking rack and bake for about 3-5 min, making sure they don’t get burned because honey burns very fast. You can either gloss the wings with the remaining glaze or use it as a dip.
8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Enjoy! ❤

EASY Cheesy Croissant Twists - perfect for breakfast or a snack 😋 Almost a Panera Bread dupe 😉

~ Cheesy Croissant Twists ~
• 1 pack pastry dough Dufour Pastry Kitchens
• Parmesan + mozzarella, shredded or Asiago cheese to make them just like Panera bread harristeeter & ALDI USA
• 1 egg, beaten + 1 tbsp water Vital Farms
• sesame seeds, optional

Directions:
1. Start oven at 350 F for convection ovens or 400 F for regular
2. Make sure you dough is defrosted. Flour your surface and roll out the dough. Cut in narrow or wide strips (we did both and came out perfect).
3. Twist each strip, brush on the beaten egg and water mixture. Roll into the shredded cheese because it is delicious when the bottom is cheesy, too. We wanted to add some sesame seeds, so we applied more beaten egg before sprinkling the seeds on, this helps them stick.
4. Depending on your oven, bake for 20-25 min or until the top is nice and golden.

Notes:
They are great and slightly crunchy the first day, but will taste slightly stale the next day. We put them in a big Ziploc bag and stored in the freezer. When you want to have one, put it in the toaster and voilà!

Enjoy! ❤
