Meet Maggie.

This 65 pound beautiful lady is still a puppy. Maggie is just a little over a year old. She is sweet as pie, but needs someone who is willing to work with her on navigating life as a full figured gal! She doesn’t realize she looks like an adult dog and identifies herself as a tiny terrier.

Meet Tater 🧡

Tater is an 8-month-old male lovebug with a gentle soul. He may be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. Tater likes to hang back, relax, and quietly observe the world around him. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll reward you with sweet headbutts and soothing purrs.

Tater transitioned into the cat room with ease and gets along well with both cats and dogs. He’s thankful to be off the cold streets and is now ready to find the forever home he deserves. 🏡🐾

Due to inclement weather, Governor Beshear has delayed the opening of all state office buildings until 10:00 a.m. ET on Friday, December 12, 2025.

This means that there is an Executive Branch building closure until 10:00 a.m. ET, at which time Executive Branch buildings will open.

Executive Branch agencies will continue to provide services to the citizens of the Commonwealth; therefore, essential employees designated for mandatory operations and those able to work remotely should continue to report for work.
