🚨 Starting April 11, 2025, a new federal rule requires certain undocumented people to register with the Department of Homeland Security.

A federal judge has approved the Trump administration’s move to enforce this registration requirement, which could carry serious consequences — including detention, deportation, or criminal charges — for those who register and those who don’t.

This applies to individuals over 14 years old who entered without permission and haven’t had prior contact with immigration, including some parents, teens, and long-term residents.
